Great repairs and excellent customer service! My coolant tank broke and I urgently need my vehicle on a Friday. I would need to wait until Monday if I leave it in a store. I was lucky that Melissa is free at that time, she came within 10 minutes and spent another 10 minutes getting the job done. Excellent! And she gave me some honest suggestions and tips. Couldn't recommend Mel enough. She fit me in at late notice, gave me other options and advice over the phone giving me the chance to save a bit of money on a callout if possible. Diagnosed my issue super quickly, fixed up my car beautifully and passed on some of her knowledge to me while she was at it.Usually a horrible experience as a femme person trying to find a mechanic who isn't dismissive, condescending or looking to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. I had an overheating issue with my car. I booked in Thursday night and Mel was able to book me in Friday arvo at the end of her day! She did a quick inspection and has the quality tools to diagnose the issue quickly. She ordered the parts that needed to be repaired and booked me in a few days later and quoted me an affordable and fair price! She knows what she’s doing and is very highly skilled at what she does. She also taught me a few things about cars and also changed my wipers when she noticed they were old. Also just a friendly person! I was able to drive my car back home and it felt so smooth and safe! I would recommend booking in with TLC if you’re looking for an honest and quality mechanic!

Needed a service done on a 2nd hand car I just bought, Mel was able to organise a very convenient time for swinging by. She performed a careful and efficient service of the car all while talking me through why certain parts were important for keeping the car running healthy in a way that was informative, approachable and best of all not condescending at all! Had an excellent experience w/ Mel at TLC who was easily able to identify the source of a frightening engine noise (broken fan belt) and then replace the belt only a few days later after ordering it in for me. She explained things clearly and simply as I know nothing about cars, and was friendly and reassuring with a wealth of knowledge and a sense of humour.As someone who is quite young and doesn’t know anything about cars, i’ve been nervous about mechanics in the past taking advantage of me, but I am now reassured that the team at TLC will be the way to go 🙂

Mel serviced my 2002 prado for me when there was a severe water leak, she was able to figure out the issues and fix it all up for me. I sent an online request Sunday night asking if my car can be looked at Monday. I received a call from Melissa Monday morning and she was out at my place by lunch time Monday. She changed the battery and explained what happens if I don't drive my car often to start the car every couple of weeks. She explained in simple terms that I could understand and not mechanic speak. She picked up right away something was not right with my steering wheel and put power steering fluid and it is so much better now. She made me feel at ease. Extremely RUDE in call. My car battery died so I was asking prices, and she gave me a quote. Then my mother who is very sick called me, so I said "I will call back" and she said "NO YOU WILL NOT YOURE JUST SHOPPING AROUND" and hang up immediately. Before I saw 4.9 star reviews on google so this mechanic is probably really good I don't doubt that, but I just feel disrespected and disappointed at how I am being treated so I will be choosing another mechanic.

I am wowed by my experience with Mel from TLC Auto Mechanics..Mel is officially my mechanic.. the only mechanic I’ll ever go to. I’ll be honest I was quite hesitant to have her servicing my car at first due to my past experiences with mechanics to the point my car has not been serviced for 2 years.. Mel did not rip me off at all.. she was highly ethical, honest and so comfortable to be around.. I was with her the whole time.. Mel was very thorough with my car and explained everything and told me about my engine mount that was ruined.. and charged me a very very good price for it and her labour is so well priced.. I was waiting for her to talk about my break pads which she told me my break pads were in very good condition and I asked her the price if they ever needed replacement..the price that Mel said was affordable because the last mechanic said they needed replaced and the price was up the roof I almost had a heart attack to the point I thought it was best just to sell the car..my break pads didn’t need replacement at all... that is why I haven’t taken my car to a mechanic... I simply could not afford to anc I don’t trust what they are charging me... I trust TLC mechanic because she tell me everything and what cost and why.. I know my car a lot better and it now runs like a dream...Thank you for putting up with me Mel.. I know I was frustrating and unorganised but I just did not know what charges to expect.. I know now how much I need for my car services and how much I need when the time comes for my break pads.. I have recommended Mel to my friend who is having issues with her Lexus to the point she is giving up on it. Thank you Mel.. Hands down best experience I've ever had at a mechanic. Jude and Mel guided me through the whole process with complete clarity and without any condescension or attempts to cheat me out of dollars, which has happened to me at multiple other mechanics. Every part of the repairs was explained to me clearly so I understood why it needed to be replaced. You can tell they really care about your car and want you to have a positive experience while keeping the cost as affordable as possible.As there's nowhere on my street to park their van, I dropped my car to them a few suburbs over and they went above and beyond by dropping me home and then bringing the car back to me when they were finished. This mechanic is amazing! Always on time, gets the job done fast, cheaper than anywhere else I saw quoted for the same job, such fantastic quality and I just feel so looked after. Took all the hassle and stress out of getting the car done. She goes the extra mile and is also super funny and entertaining!. I’m getting every little thing done that I’ve been avoiding for ages as it’s been such a positive experience, and telling everyone I know about her!

I am so happy with the service I received!I used to get my car serviced at a large organisation, but often felt like i was being taken for a ride because i dont know much about cars.Finally an honest mechanic that I feel like I can trust.My car is driving the best it has in years!Would definitely recommend.
